S10 Vault 4.0

The S10 Password Vault mobile companion app provides users with convenient access to their stored data from mobile devices, such as phones and tablets, complementing the PC application. With this app, users can effortlessly log into websites and fill out forms, enhancing their experience while away from their computers.

Setup: To utilize the app, users must first transfer their vault data from the PC to the mobile device. This process can be achieved either through online synchronization, which involves scanning a QR code displayed in the PC app, or via a manual file transfer. For detailed instructions, users are directed to refer to the in-app guidance.

Login Page: Accessing the vault requires entering the same master password used in S10 Password Vault on the PC. Users can log out using the menu icon located in the top right corner of the interface.

Folder Page: The interface is designed to display one folder at a time to reduce clutter and enhance navigation. Users can easily explore subfolders or individual accounts and return to a previous level by tapping the back-arrow icon situated at the top left corner.

Account Page: This section displays pertinent account details, including username, password, custom fields, and notes. By default, passwords are masked for security purposes; users can reveal them by tapping the mask icon and hide them again with another tap. Additionally, this page allows users to directly launch associated websites.

Website Page: Websites open in a private browser unique to the S10 Vault app, featuring a "FILL" tool in the header that simplifies form filling. For instance, when logging into a website, users should first select the username textbox followed by the FILL tool and subsequently choose their username from the dropdown menu. This method can be replicated for password input. S10 Vault remembers these selections for future visits, enabling automatic form filling and submission upon website access. The FILL dropdown also provides quick access to personal information and allows for seamless account switching when needed.

• Launch Options:
  • Disabling Auto-fill: Users may prevent previously filled forms from automatically populating by unchecking “Auto-fill forms in websites.”
  • Disabling Auto-submit: To avoid automatic form submission after entering a password, users should uncheck “Auto-submit after password.”
  • Using an External Browser: For those preferring their regular browser over the built-in option, checking “Launch in external browser” facilitates this choice. Notably, each field value on the account page can be copied to the clipboard for use in other apps by tapping on it and pasting as needed.

Synchronization: For users who have activated Synchronization in S10 Password Vault on their PC, a Synchronize feature is conveniently available in the mobile app's main menu. This function simplifies updating mobile devices with recent changes made on the PC version.

Timeout: To bolster security, if users switch to another application while logged into S10 Vault and return after a period of 10 minutes or more, the app will automatically time out, requiring re-entry of login credentials.
